| I have been in the business for awhile now; however I always learn something from listening to another person's experiences. I especially liked Steve's move to "higher quality" projects that yield more net profit than the volume cookie cutter deals we all seem to focus on. I certainly experience a certain amount of frustration with the standard deals that will be lessened by moving to the better neighborhoods and better qualified buyers. I had begun to move in that direction just to reduce the frustration factor and improve my quality of life. Steve's comments solidify my need to continue in that direction. |

Steve's books were some of the first I ever read when I got started investing just over 4 years ago. As a result I was able to net nearly $100,000 on my first deal, within my first 90 days in this business.
I can honestly say that Steve's rehabbing book is one of the best books I have ever read, because it gives you the absolute nuts and bolts, from finding the deal to taking it all the way to the sale...it's invaluable information.
To have somebody like Steve...who has done every type of rehab, from paint and patch to the "full gut" rehab, you just an't put a value on the type of knowledge you get from someone like that.
...Even still today I pick it up to try to gain more tidbits from it. And I still do, even having done 15 rehabs myself this year alone.
Steve, I just want to say that I could not be where I am today without the knowledge, the mentorship, endless conversations in posts you've answered on FlippingHomes.com -- plain and simple, I could not have done it without you. |
