You remember about the property I have that the Tenant ran their car into the exterior wall of the house? I am still boiling about that incident and frankly just want to sell & off-load the four-plex to another Investor or Landlord. At this very moment – consider me a highly Motivated Seller!
So in investigating what my options are for a quick sale, I stumbled about a new Zillow program – Instant Offers. Have you heard of it?
Here is the quick run down about the program from their website:
What Is Zillow Instant Offers?
Zillow Instant Offers is a home-selling option for property owners who want a certain and predictable sale on their timeline. In just a few short steps, owners will receive offers from corporate buyers, including Zillow in some markets, as well as a professional home valuation from a licensed real estate agent.
The offers and valuation are provided at no cost or obligation to the property owner. If the seller chooses an offer, they will be connected with Zillow’s Seller Support Team. If the seller opts to list their home for sale, Zillow will connect them with the local agent.
Are There Fees To Request Offers?
There is no cost to request or receive Zillow Instant Offers and a professional property valuation. If you choose an investor offer, you will receive a clear statement outlining any fees associated with the offer you select.
Who Is Offering To Buy My House?
Our buyers are reputable professionals with extensive local market knowledge. They are pre-screened investors and corporate buyers who are invited to participate in Zillow Instant Offers based on experience, offer quality and customer service. In some markets, Zillow will also be participating as a buyer and re-seller of homes.

Will My Property Be Listed On Zillow ?
No. Your information is sent only to interested investors and a local agent who will provide a professional valuation. Your investment proeprty will NOT be listed on Zillow or elsewhere as a result of requesting an offer, and your photos will not be shared publicly.
Is This Like A FSBO Transaction?
Not really. A FSBO home may be listed publicly and often requires home prep, staging or showings. FSBO homes are typically purchased by traditional buyers who may or may not be represented by an agent, and who may or may not experience financing issues. If you sell through Instant Offers, no prep or showings are required for your investment property, and your cash sale is certain on the closing date you choose.
So I plan on submitting an application for an instant offer to sell my Four-plex. I will let you guys now how it goes.
