Matt Hope founded Elder Guide after a first-hand experience with the elder care industry left him frustrated and felt it was appalling that such important decisions are often left to chance or are driven by commission. After discussing how the industry could be improved with a friend, they decided that together, they were uniquely qualified to help transform the industry by helping users make data driven decisions in the search for elder care. So they built a portal, called Elder Guide, that compiles a constantly updated combination of public and private data, and presents it to provide insight that is not available anywhere else This empowers families to make well informed decisions on elder care, and provides critical data for journalists, researchers, and industry professionals.
